Your opportunity

Huhtamaki currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vice President of Investor Relations to join the organization and help shape our next phase of growth.

The Vice President, Investor Relations (VP IR) is a key, strategic role responsible for developing and executing Huhtamaki’s investor relations strategy to effectively communicate the company’s financial performance, strategic vision, and long-term value proposition to investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders. 

Reporting into our Group CFO, this role serves as a primary liaison between the investment community and executive leadership, ensuring consistent, transparent, and credible messaging that supports shareholder confidence and market valuation. 


Where you’ll be

You will be located at our HQ in Espoo, Finland, therefore, you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here.  


What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and leading a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with Huhtamaki’s business objectives and capital markets strategy
  • Communicating Huhtamaki’s equity story, financial performance, and growth strategy to investors and analysts
  • Preparing and overseeing earnings materials, annual report, investor presentations, shareholder letters, and IR website content
  • Analysing financial results, peer performance, valuation trends, and capital markets activity
  • Leading quarterly earnings calls, investor days, roadshows, and conference participation
  • Tracking and interpreting market intelligence, analyst reports, and investor feedback
  • Advising senior leadership on investor expectations, risks, and opportunities
  • Supporting capital raising activities, M&A communications, and other strategic transactions
  • Partnering closely with the CFO, CEO, Legal, Corporate Communications, and Finance teams
  • Leading a small team

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or financial communications
  • Solid experience in leading investor relations and financial communications in a global public company, operating in an international environment
  • Prior experience interacting with public company investors and analysts strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and capital markets
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex topics clearly
  • High level of integrity, judgment, and discretion
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills and the ability to collaborate and build trust with key stakeholders
  • Positive attitude and willingness to drive renewal and development proactively, not afraid of new ideas or change
  • Fluency in Finnish and English languages
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally
