Canatu is looking for a Communications Manager

We offer a diverse and responsible role in a dynamic deep-tech company that was recently listed on the stock exchange. As Communications Manager, you will play a key role in planning and executing corporate, investor, and marketing communications in a hands-on and practical manner. You will produce content for multiple channels, manage press release distribution, media monitoring, and results reporting, and maintain our website and social media channels. You will ensure consistent, high-quality communication across all channels and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders—for example, in preparing financial reports and supporting search engine optimization (SEO).

Your work will have real impact on the company’s visibility, reputation, and market value. In our continuously evolving and agile multi-sector organization, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of industries. Our team combines professionalism, passion, and a strong results-driven mindset.

We expect you to have a relevant academic degree—such as in business or communications—and experience in financial and investor communications within listed companies. You are familiar with disclosure obligations and capable of interpreting financial data. You work fluently in both Finnish and English. You are not afraid of technically demanding topics, and as a communications professional, you know how to extract essential information from multiple sources, shape clear narratives, and simplify even complex subjects.

You are precise, thorough, and proactive, with experience in communications planning, implementation, and project management, and the ability to handle several ongoing initiatives simultaneously.

This is a full-time position located at Canatu’s office in Petikko, Vantaa, following a hybrid work model (3–5 days/week in the office). You will report to the Director of Investor Relations, Communications, and Marketing, and work as part of a small, three-person team. Join us—and grow with us in a constantly evolving environment!

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Participating in communications planning and executing agreed activities together with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drafting financial reports (interim reports, annual reviews), press releases, and stock exchange releases
  • Supporting the organization of the Annual General Meeting and Capital Markets Day
  • Maintaining the company website and ensuring investor and sales presentations are up to date
  • Supporting brand awareness through proactive content marketing and media relations
  • Managing press release distribution, media monitoring, and results reporting
  • Planning continuous SEO in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and external partners, and managing content-related tasks (e.g., article production), follow-up, and reporting
  • Developing the company’s communications processes and tools
  • Ensuring consistency and coherence in messaging across all channels

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in external communications, preferably in an international technology company
  • Hands-on experience in financial and investor communications within listed companies and a strong understanding of public disclosure obligations
  • Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to gather insights from experts and different sources on complex deep-tech topics and translate them into clear, compelling content
  • A proactive and fast-working attitude, with strong organizational and stress-management skills
  • Strategic thinking, prioritization skills, and the ability to translate plans into actionable, measurable outcomes
  • Understanding of content marketing, SEO, and analytics
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A relevant academic degree, such as in business or communications
  • Excellent written and spoken Finnish and English skills
