Analyst / Senior Analyst, Investor Relations

Are you passionate about the investment world and interested in working at the heart of a globally recognized, stock-listed company? Valmet is seeking an enthusiastic Investor Relations (IR) Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our award-winning IR team at our corporate head office in Espoo, Finland. This is a unique opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain highly valued experience in Investor Relations, contributing to the communications of a globally recognized, stock-listed company.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Support in financial communications: Assist in preparing interim reports, year-end reports, stock exchange releases, capital markets days, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Market analysis and intelligence: Help monitor market trends and gather insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Content creation: Contribute to Valmet’s social media presence and develop materials that promote Valmet’s equity story to private and institutional investors.
  • Events: Participate in organizing investor events, such as roadshows, seminars, and site visits, while occasionally attending these events.
  • Stakeholder support: Assist in communications with analysts and investors by providing relevant information and materials. Participate in investor meetings together with VP, Investor Relations.
  • Regulatory compliance: Stay informed about stock exchange regulations and ensure communications meet all disclosure requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • Recently completed master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Also, persons soon to graduate will be considered.
  • Experience in investor relations, financial markets, management consulting or similar areas.
  • Strong interest in investing, financial markets, and the dynamics of a publicly listed company.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements analysis and corporate finance; familiarity with valuation methods is an advantage.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in Finnish is a prerequisite as Valmet’s IR materials are done both in English and Finnish.
  • Interest in social media and digital communications is highly valued.
