Job Description

Konecranes, a global leader in material handling solutions, is looking for an IR analyst to join our Investor Relations team, at Konecranes’ office in Keilaranta, Espoo.

Investor Relations works in close cooperation with Konecranes’ senior management, Business Areas and global support functions, managing the dialogue between Konecranes and the financial community. Investor Relations is responsible for producing the financial reports and stock exchange releases issued by Konecranes, as well as organizing and participating in investor events. In addition, Investor Relations is involved in the analysis of the Group’s financial performance and prepares materials to analysts and investors and plays a key role in compliance with the regulation for listed companies.

As an Investor Relations Analyst, you will be an important part of our Investor Relations team, maintaining dialogue with analysts and investors to support fair valuation of Konecranes in the capital markets.

What you will work with:

  • Actively contribute to the development of Konecranes’ equity story with a strong focus on financial analysis.
  • Participate in interim report preparation work.
  • Plan and prepare Investor Relations presentations and other materials for investor events, such as roadshows, seminars, conferences and site visits.
  • Participate in organizing events such as the Capital Markets Day and Annual General Meeting.
  • Act as a point of contact for the financial community, managing analyst and investor enquiries.
  • Perform business and financial modelling and analysis, and
  • Provide support and back-up to the Vice President, Investor Relations, and Investor Relations manager.

Qualifications

What we expect from you

  • Analytical thinking and good understanding of financials statements and ability to perform financial analysis.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure with tight schedules, readiness to take responsibility, and capability to combine precision and speed.
  • Ability to understand the big picture while having strong attention to detail and high quality of output.
  • Proactive, self-driven and flexible attitude, and good cooperation skills.
  • Master’s degree in finance or equivalent.
  • Advanced command of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience from for example capital markets, corporate finance, management consulting, controlling or auditing.
  • Fluency in both English and Finnish, as Finnish is a regulatory reporting language for Konecranes. Other language skills are considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work outside of office hours, when needed, and ability to travel occasionally.
