We are now looking for a new Head of Investor Relations for our award-winning Investor Relations team based in Helsinki, Finland. You will report to the CFO, Petri Castrén.

As Head of Investor Relations at Kemira, you will be the main point of contact for the capital markets. You will play a key role in building and reinforcing investor’s conviction about Kemira by communicating the company’s strategy, financial performance and value proposition to existing and prospective equity and debt investors. Kemira is undergoing a sustainability transformation and you will play an important role in repositioning Kemira’s equity story. You will be leading a team of one Investor Relations Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a high performing IR function in close cooperation with Kemira’s Finance & Accounting team
  • Main point-of-contact at Kemira for equity and fixed income investors, as well as sell-side analysts. Also represent Kemira on roadshows and at conferences either with management or on his/her own.
  • Help articulate Kemira’s business model and equity story as well as assume responsibility for communications with the market, including quarterly financial releases, presentations, stock exchange releases and capital markets days
  • Play a key role internally in formulating guidance and longer-term financial targets to the market; ensure expectation management is conducted appropriately in order to create long-term trust with investors
  • Educate and guide internally on why transparent and well-crafted communication with the market is important; ensure that regulatory aspects of capital market communication are well understood internally
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics for the IR function, and provide feedback to the Group Leadership Team regarding the investment community’s perception of the company
  • Depending on background, possibly secondary role as pension fund investment manager

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Minimum of five years of IR experience in a Finnish listed company
  • Master’s degree, preferably in economics, accounting or finance as major
  • Corporate finance or valuation experience, preferably from an investment or commercial bank or broker institution
  • Diligent hands-on attitude with high level of energy and commitment for continuous improvement
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English
  • Ability to create impactful presentations with PowerPoint
  • Experience from working with Workiva’s WDesk is a benefit
