Valmet is looking for Manager, Investor Relations to join our award-winning investor relations (IR) team based at our corporate head office in Espoo, Finland. Investor Relations is responsible for a stock listed company’s reporting and serves as a point of contact for investors and analysts. Are you the person we are looking for?
Your main responsibilities include:
- Financial communications: Prepare and develop interim reports, year-end reports, stock exchange releases, and other financial communication materials, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with stock market regulations.
- Financial analysis and market intelligence: Conduct financial analysis and monitor and analyze market trends.
- Marketing Valmet as an investment to private investors: Represent Valmet in private investor seminars and events. Contribute to the further development of Valmet’s presence on social media and digital platforms.
- Valmet’s equity story: Collaborate with the Head of IR to develop and communicate Valmet’s equity story, aligning with strategic vision and ensuring consistent messaging across all investor communications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with analysts, institutional investors through proactive communication. Participate in investor meetings and presentations alongside VP, IR, while coordinating and contributing to the organization of key investor events, such as capital markets days, roadshows, seminars and site visits.
- Regulatory compliance: Keep up to date with regulatory requirements on disclosure and stock exchange regulations.
To be successful in this role:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience preferably in investor relations, but experience in financial analysis, capital markets, corporate finance, or a related field is also considered.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and capital markets. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and basic grasp of the financial modelling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors.
- In addition to operational tasks, the ideal candidate also serves as a strategic partner, providing valuable insights and support also in complex and rapidly changing situations.
- High level of attention to detail, especially when dealing with financial data and regulatory requirements.
- Driving things forward independently and ability to prioritise.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities effectively.
- High ethical standards, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for roadshows, seminars and site visits.
- Interest towards investor relations and investing.
